The Yellow Rose

In this episode of the Gotta Look Up Podcast, I dive deep into one of the most challenging and rewarding journeys of my life—reconnecting with my daughter after a difficult divorce. If you've ever faced the struggles of co-parenting and the emotional turmoil that comes with it, this story will resonate with you on many levels.

Divorce is tough, not just for the parents, but especially for the kids. Their lives are turned upside down, and they often find themselves caught in the middle of adult conflicts. My story is no different. After my divorce, my relationship with my daughter took a severe hit, fueled by the negative stories she was told about me. For a year, she wouldn’t speak to me. The only way I could see her was by volunteering for lunch duty at her school. So, I did. I showed up as much as I could, just to catch glimpses of her and slowly rebuild our bond.

This episode is a testament to the power of resilience, the importance of showing up, and the unexpected ways the universe honors our efforts. Sometimes, when you’re in the middle of a storm, you just have to look up and believe that better days are coming. And sometimes, those better days come with a yellow rose and a double rainbow.

Tune in to hear more about this incredible journey and how it taught me to keep looking up, no matter what.

Stay inspired!
